This demonstration, necessarily incomplete for the purposes of this presentation, outlines the features used in some of the modules available on this efficient award-winning system.

- ActionStep is a program based on contacts (clients, other lawyers etc).
- Contacts can be associated with matters (of a range of types)
- Each matter has various data items (appropriate to that matter) used to produce documents for the matter
- Each matter progresses through a series of steps, each step including tasks to be completed by partners and staff working on the file
- Each matter has a series of System file notes automatically created as activity goes on in each file.
- In addition, each matter contains all emails sent by any person using the file, as well as the replies sent back.
- The Calendar automatically tracks all dates in matters associated with each participant - they are colour coded.
- Each person can look at each other persons dates - there is no complex system for sharing calendars.
- Tasks and matters can be "block" managed, and dashboard reports can show the overall picture at a glance.
AS Legal Systems offers "pre-built" modules for Residential Sales and Purchases, Trusts (including gifting and maintenance) Company incorporation and compliance, and Business Sales and Purchases.
We will shortly have completed several additional types of matters - and we can custom-build any sort of matter to any firm's own requirements.
ActionStep runs on the internet just like your Bank, LINZ and the Companies Office. So, you don't have to worry about buying, maintaining and replacing servers, or backing up your data. That is all done for just $60.00 per month per user, which covers all of your software server/multi-user licences as well!
